While visiting the vet for a routine checkup, a technician casually spoke to Kairo in Spanish, asking him to lie down. To Heather’s amazement, Kairo instantly obeyed. It was in that small moment that she realized the truth — Spanish was his first language, the one he had grown up with alongside his late owner.
“I was blown away,” Heather admitted. “I had to try more.”
