Abandoned By a Fountain, Saved By a Miracle

Bellaria’s story begins with heartbreak. Together with her brother, she was found abandoned near an old stone fountain in a small Romanian village. The two tiny pups had been left with nothing but each other, trembling from hunger and fear. Sadly, stories like this are all too common in Romania, where helpless puppies are often abandoned to fend for themselves. Most never survive.

But fate had other plans for Bellaria. A kind shelter worker stumbled upon the pair while bringing food to stray animals nearby. Without hesitation, she scooped them up and gave them a chance at life.

Today, Bellaria and her brother live in a foster home surrounded by other dogs. There, Bellaria shines like the little star she is. She races joyfully through the yard, plays with her foster siblings, and follows her human caretakers everywhere, craving their touch and affection. She doesn’t know that without finding a forever home, her future is uncertain. But what she does know is how to give unconditional love.
