Sad news for Little People, Big World fans: Matt Roloff and fiancée Caryn Chandler have officially parted ways, more than two years after announcing their engagement and over six years into their relationship.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Matt wrote:
“Caryn and I have decided to part ways and end our engagement. Life’s a continued journey, and this is the right step for us at this time. We remain amicable and will always appreciate the many wonderful memories we’ve shared.”
The couple’s relationship began in 2017, a year after Matt’s divorce from ex-wife Amy Roloff. Over the years, fans watched their romance blossom on-screen, as Caryn supported Matt through family changes and farm life. They moved in together and announced their engagement in 2023, planning a “simple but elegant” wedding in 2024.

Despite excitement from fans, Caryn recently admitted on LPBW that blending families brought challenges. “Boundaries are healthy in second relationships,” she said, “and sometimes, less is more.”
The news of the split comes as a shock to many, especially those who admired their journey on Little People, Big World, which aired from 2006 to 2024.
🎥 Little People, Big World is currently available to stream on HBO Max and Tubi.
