Today has been emotionally difficult.

My beloved dog — more than just a pet, truly part of my family — is fighting an illness. He’s receiving veterinary care and is surrounded by people who want him to recover, but it’s still heartbreaking to see him lying so still, so tired.

His body may be weak, but his spirit is strong. When I look into his eyes, I see love, trust, and an unspoken will to fight. He’s holding on with the quiet strength that only dogs seem to have.

For anyone who has ever had a sick pet, you’ll understand this ache — the helplessness, the hope, the constant wondering if your love is enough. And I believe it is.
