The Bronx superstar, Cardi B, has won a $24 million lawsuit filed by her former bodyguard, Emani Ellis.
Ellis alleged that Cardi spat on her, scratched her, and hurled insults during a 2018 doctor’s visit in Beverly Hills.
Cardi B, who was pregnant at the time, testified that these claims were false.
She admitted to a heated moment but denied any spitting, scratching, or assault.
Witnesses corroborated Cardi’s account.
The jury took less than an hour to dismiss the case, declaring Cardi NOT LIABLE, with no compensation owed.
After the victory, Cardi warned, “No more frivolous lawsuits.
The next person to try me, I’ll make them pay.” As Cardi celebrates this major win, the plaintiff vows to appeal.
