It was just another ordinary day for Joanito, a staff member at PAWS Mauritius, as he walked to work. However, that morning was destined to be anything but ordinary. “I had never seen a connection like that,” said the PAWS representative. “As soon as Voshan laid eyes on Hope, they both knew. It was like their souls recognized each other.”

Now, Hope is a completely transformed dog. No longer the frightened, trembling pup who arrived at the shelter, she is now a happy, playful, and pampered puppy living in a home filled with love. She has blossomed into the confident, joyful dog she was always meant to be, thriving under the care of her new dad.

“She was so shy and stressed when she first came to us,” the representative shared. “But in her new home, she’s become the happy, playful pup we always knew she could be.”
